Our Comprehensive Programs
MECCA Infant Program
For infants from 6 weeks through 13 months, MECCA’s Infant Program is built on the foundation of the Montessori principle of respect for the child. At MECCA, our infant caregivers provide personalized care tailored to meet each child’s unique needs while fostering the development of cognitive, language, and social skills. Infants engage in tummy time activities to strengthen the muscles essential for gross motor development. Caregivers consistently speak to infants using clear, age-appropriate language (avoiding baby talk) and read stories to promote early language acquisition. Opportunities for social interaction with peers in the same age group are provided, and infants are gently introduced to the Arabic language through engaging songs and finger-play activities.
Our caregivers are trained to recognize that crying is an infant’s primary mode of communication. Every cry is met with attentive care to help build trust and ensure that each need is addressed promptly. MECCA’s infant program is built on a strong partnership with families, offering a nurturing extension of the home where learning and development unfold naturally.
With deep expertise in child development, our caregivers monitor and assess infant growth through ongoing evaluations. Recognizing the vulnerability of this age group, our infant spaces are located close to the Administration for heightened supervision and support. We are honored to be part of your child’s earliest developmental journey, providing care during this delicate and critical stage of growth.

MECCA Toddler Program
For children ages 13 months through 24 months, MECCA’s Toddler Program supports young learners during this critical stage of development by focusing on emotional nurturing, communication skills, and cognitive growth. Toddlers are mastering the skills need to walk, run, and climb; along with quickly developing language skills. As such, toddlers are introduced to short Quranic surahs and du’as during circle time and throughout the day.
Arabic alphabet, numbers, and Islamic concepts are taught through songs and poems. In our toddler program your student will develop their conversational skills while gaining confidence in their newly developed abilities. At MECCA, our toddlers gain the cognitive abilities needed for color, letter and number recognition; along with the social skills required to learn manners and how to share with a friend.
By fostering curiosity and creativity, our program prepares toddlers to smoothly transition into preschool, equipped with foundational skills for lifelong learning.
Communication Growth:
Activities foster early language and social skills.
Hands-On Discovery
Age-appropriate materials support exploration.
Smooth Transition:

MECCA Preschool/PHLpreK Program
At MECCA, our Preschool program is designed to help children build the skills necessary to become confident, independent learners. Through interactive lessons and teacher-guided play, students develop a passion for reading, ignite their imaginations, and strengthen their curiosity about the world around them.
Our dedicated preschool educators focus on laying the groundwork for early literacy, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Students engage in expanded Islamic studies, where they begin to recite Juz Amma and explore the lives of the Prophets through captivating stories and hands-on learning activities that deepen their understanding of faith and values.
The Arabic language is introduced in a playful and relatable way, allowing preschoolers to learn colors, shapes, and everyday objects from their own perspective. Teachers set clear goals to help students master letter recognition, number concepts, and provide an introduction to our Montessori curriculum—especially designed for children aged three and above.
MECCA’s Montessori-based program places a strong emphasis on student-led, child-centered learning across early literacy, math, science, and social studies. Preschoolers are encouraged to rely on their natural curiosity to absorb information from every aspect of their daily experiences. The program strikes a thoughtful balance between hands-on learning and creative play, fostering intellectual growth while nurturing each child’s social and emotional development.
MECCA Pre-K Program
Designed for children aged 4-5, MECCA’s Pre-K Program provides an enriched learning environment that prepares students for kindergarten and beyond. Emphasizing leadership, collaboration, and academic readiness, the program blends Montessori principles with engaging, personalized instruction in reading, math, and science. Quranic recitation is extended as students are taught the English translation which makes learning the Quran more meaningful. Islamic concepts including the five pillars and Articles of Faith are readily explored and practiced, along with an introduction to conversational Arabic. Our teachers cultivate essential life skills like patience, responsibility, and cooperation while supporting each child’s individual learning pace. Through activities that encourage exploration and critical thinking, MECCA’s Pre-K students develop the confidence and knowledge necessary for a seamless transition into elementary school.
